Battle Of The Band

DATARAN IPOH

On 25 September , Battle Of The Band was held at Dataran Ipoh organised by HARIAN METRO... Along with Epy , Emy , Joe and Merul ...We form the band by the name 'Colourful Maria'.. We were joining the battle but we don't have the prove (picture).. So I hope that no hesitation from anyone.. We had been practiced together nearly 10 hours just only in one day... We were also practice at 3.00 a.m in the early morning on that day (25 September) ...

Before Performance

For the very first time we had been performed on stage... Especially we had performed along with famous and superb band.. They are 'Sweet P' and 'Molly Dolly' (The only band I knew but truly they are superb).. Sweet P won the second place even though there were a lot of trouble happened during on the stage... We only got the ninth place out of 15 band..

We Are Going For GIG

On 18 september , We had been invited for GIG at epoh on 1 October .. The Gig is organised by NKOB and the head 'Gman Abrazz'... We registered by the name 'EYE ESCAPED' ... Since we dont have the real name .. so we randomly choose it .. Maybe we just used it for a while until we get the real name... For this GIG .. We get in Yon for 2nd guitarist .. And Joe as the vocalist (session).... it's just Emy , Arep , Yon , Joe and Amirul.... We are going to play 3 song (Seize The Day , Anna Molly , Babak Pertama) ... Yon will be the 2nd guitarist ... Joe will be the vocalist .. Everything was according to plan ... But since Dean returned home yesterday ... We have to change the plan .., We are not sure that he will be able to join us.. Because he had to leave to Kedah .. He wants to join us but not sure... today on 25 September.. We had been confirmed that we will be join this GIG without him..

We will perform in studio..

New Cover Song

And now... We are going to make 'Good Girls Go Bad' song as cover .. The song is recorded by American Pop Punk band Cobra Starship with guest vocal Leighton Meester ... It is a dance pop song... But we are going to make it more heavy .. We want to turn it into 'Screamo' ...

We are now more likely to make song by covering other band's song...

Technical Problems

This morning .. we had been told that our band's name is same as 'This Romantic Tragedy' . We are never knew it before but we think Tasha might be knew about this... Since we found out about this, we manage to find a new name for our band. Its quite difficult to find a better name. But we will cooperate to look for it. We are so disappointed. But for a moment , We wanted to use this name for a while.

But however, Zul suggests to find a short and simple name. Like 'Kyla' or 'Alesana' ..
